it's so true for nowadays competition golf.. and future golf.. | y**********7 发帖数: 769 | 2 It's really helpful. Thanks! | ET 发帖数: 10701 | 3 02 Now more than ever, hit a draw.
A growing number of tour players are choosing to fade the ball with their
drivers. If this makes you feel better about that slice you've been cursed
with, you need to think again. Tour players don't fade the ball the way
amateurs do. They actually make a draw-type swing, with the clubhead
approaching from inside the line of play instead of swiping across it. All
they do to produce the fade is aim left and make sure the face is open
slightly at impact. To becom

but, actually, i have a question about those intentionally draw (or fade)
say you align your body, and set up for a draw, what if you miss hit?
i mean, would it be totally get your ball out of bounce?
or, at the level of worrying draw or fade, ppl no longer worry about mishit?

| ET 发帖数: 10701 | 5 no. at the competition level, it's like 0.001% chance they will mishit it.
Even for me, I only mis-hit once almost in the past 2 years. the mis-hit I
mean here is like I totally topped the ball, and the ball didn't get up to
the air at all.
Like us, pros didn't hit their sweet-spot all the time either.
so here is how I understand his concept.
1) fade-style setup (stance)
2) draw-style swing path
the 2 leads to a shallow attack angle.
here is a story my friend Brian told me. He went to several Fl

| d*******r 发帖数: 590 | 6 My understanding with the fade-style stance is that this way, your right
side is less-likely to lag behind in the down-swing.
I tried this setup before and often hit a straight pull or worse, a pull-
hook. I did find out though, that with this setup, if I hit it right, it
goes far.
On the courses I usually play, trouble is often on the left side. So I stick
to the neutral stance. | ET 发帖数: 10701 | 7 there are several ways you can hit a fade shot, as Tiger summarized in the
golf digest.
