think it's true. It 's pretty good when we have left to right wind, and als
o it's for approach shot.
I realized it's pretty bad for tee shot when having the same wind. the cut s
hot/fade shot is sending the ball against the wind all the way. the ball end
s up with pretty short distance.
the best thing is to hit draw under this wind. It could gain so much distanc
e.
when wind is blow from right to left. I am dead.

发帖数: 2325 | 2 it's hard to hit draw with low loft clubs, such as Driver and 3wood.
especially if you have a fade bias. i have slice bias, so i never hit any
draw with Driver or 3wood, it does not help that my swing is not in good
form yet.
post something when you work it out with draw. it's going to be fun to be
able to work the ball,either avoid wind or left turning dog leg fairway.

controllable shot. My swing method is kind against the "wrist flip". Randy
is telling me how I should hit the draw.

but sometimes, the draw approach shot helps distance a lot for approach shot
as well.
like yesterday, i use my 8 iron from 150 yards (heavy up-hill) to shoot
front pin position with down/side wind. i'ts right club, but i ended up off
green a bit.
Randy hit 6 iron from 175 yards and he hit a draw shot, his ball landed at
way back of the green. like he shot 185 yards.

上上星期, Phil在Doral最后一洞(the most difficult finishing hole on the PGA
tour)上果岭那杆,导播专门放了他和球童的对话:
球童说: 两个选择, draw 7或fade 6, wind blow left right.
Phil答: I never play against wind. 二话没说, 掏出6i就fade到fringe上.
题外话:
其实18洞左边是水右边是沙坑,更多人选择draw到bunker, 而不是challenging water,
毕竟hazzard比风还是要命些. 估计Phil当时是正在风头上, 谁都挡不住. | v****e

draw is so.. so hard..
i practiced a little bit draw today. I was able to turn the ball to left,
but it's nothing but hook. seriously, hook.
it's the worst thing .

from what i read, flipper is no good.
no-flipping wrist action is totally new feeling of strike ball for me...

don't think about it right now. working on the "pull" movement of your swing
..
later on, you'll realize how to hit draw/fade/cut and so on..
it's more like timing thing.
for me, draw makes more sense for a certain direction wind since draw is not
that easy to control. u remembered when 90% ameatuer is afraid of the slice
, 90% of pros worry about their left side.
so...
