We had a great fun!
Hopefully, Bayarea golfers would have more often golf outing as the weather
getting nicer.

Admired your stable performance--always green in regulation. Also thanks for
connecting the dots for me and Joe. I contacted him afterwards and he may
come out play with us too. He also mentioned a couple of yahoo mailing list
for regulars.
Played a round at Bridges with Voiyer. Course condition was great but design
was evil--lost countless balls there. Need to get much better before trying

发帖数: 3067 | 3 Bridges is my "home course", local knowledge do get paid off.
The course was designed by Johny Miller, like all Johny Miller's courses, it
requires your precise on club selection.
there are certain holes, you have to follow the 攻略.
such as:
#1, dont use drive, tee off with 3-wood to keep your ball in bound.
#2, treat it as par5 instead of par4, lay-up your second shot on a par4
#3, plan your second shot aroud 100-110, or whatever distance most
comfortable as second shot
#4, $6, two tough par5, stay in bound is the key, dont over-shoot for either
of them.
#5, a par3, you might use your driver on a par3.
#7, stay away from leftside, it might be ok to tee off that aiming short of
the green, lay-up on a par3 hole.
#8, the fairway was wide-open on the leftside, which is blocked by the hill
from your view when tee off.
#9, stay away from right-side
#10, dont over-hit your second shot, leave yourself 130 for 3-shot on the
par5 hole
#11, tee-off with 3-wood, ok to go left, stay away from right.
#12, drive, drive, drive as far as you can, the easiest hole on the course,
need capitalize it
#13, aim the middle of the green, stay away from the right side
#14, second shot would need longer than it appears, add another club from
whevever your first shot lands
#15, easiest par3, aiming the flag
#16, tee off with iron/hybrid, follow by another long long iron shot
#17, plan 3 shots to reach the par5 green, dont over-shot for any of those 3
shots
#18, longest par4, drive, aiming at leftside cart-path

发帖数: 2325 | 4 mark mark. 下次再book bridges就按这个方案打。
上周在18洞梯台， 也有想到aiming for the cart path. 可惜没有命中， 有点偏左。
同组的一个球落在cart path 右边的坡上， 也滚回到了到cart path 上。 的确是不
用担心miss to the right.
#1,#2,#17 用driver 的确非常容易打丢球。下次减少driver 的使用。或则driver chok down 轻打。 我#1轻打球保住了， #2&17 重打都飞了。 #17 其实不怎么偏， 还是丢了。 只能在个别洞 grip it and rip it, 大多数洞还是 pro v1 保卫战效果好些。
很多球都需要 飞跃横断fairway 的峡谷， 打短了也丢球。打那种球 对深浅控制要准确。

本来想去quick 9 hole round, 一看排队开球 和 一个家伙 开球从 white tee 开到
red tee,
顿时golfing mood 全无， refund 走人了。
突然很想打那种private club atmosphere, with scenic views.
这样只有 bridges ， callippe (certain time slots) playable 。
估计 4p 是晚了点。
