basis，请问是什么意思呢？
还有，怎么看一个mutual fund具体的账目明细阿？

发帖数: 278 | 2 that is the cost per share that you paid when you bought your fund and is
important for calculating cap gain/loss when you sell the shares.
for example, you bought 10 shares of A @ $10, you sell it @$12. Your cost
basis is $10. you have 2 bucks in capital gain
if you bought share A twice, once 10 shares at $10, another time 10 shares@
$12. you sell 2 shares @$13. there are several ways to calculate cost basis.
You can use average cost absis, which is $11, your cap gain is $2. or you
can assign the shares you share such that you can ask your brokers to sell 2
shares that you bought @ 12, this way you incur capital gain of of $1.
another way to calculate is first in first out. this way you sell the $10
shares first and your cap gain is 3
your brokers may have several options to calculae cost basis for you to
choose.
