上次面试的时候问道,感觉回答的不够好, 想问问大家怎么回答的。谢谢。
1.what's your weakness.
2.how to cope with deadline pressure
3.what's your five year plan
4.how do you prioritize your projects.

Don't give some cheesy answer, tell the truth but it can still help you.
1. depending on your level, you can name a weakness that most of the people
with your experience don't have. For example, if you are a new grad, say
your weakness your leadership skill needs to be improved. Its a real
weakness, but it shows that you are thinking more than just what they
interview for.

Deadline pressure:
Talk about its also your goal to release a product on time, so you are
willing to work extra to make it happen. However if this is recurring theme,
talk about there could be a problem with planning/scoping, share your
thoughts on how this can be improved. Because a good employer doesn't want
to constantly stress its employees either.

Share your real five years plan.BE honest.
If you are interested in management role, say you want to be given
opportunity to lead a small team after you prove yourself.
If yyou are about technology, say you want to keep learning the technology
and become the go to person for the technology in the team.
If you want to start your own company also say so, compliment how the
potential employer can help get the skills and connection to achieve this.

How to prioritize your projects:
Align your person ptriority with the company's priority and vision. This is
question is too open, I don't think its very easy to mess up.

One example of cheesy answer for the first question:
You like to work hard, sometimes its too hard, you don't have work/life
balance.
Is it a real weakness? To me, yes, but interviewers might have heard this
many times. Also if I am a manager, its not a culture I want to promote in
my team.

It is very easy to answer ANY technical and/or behavior questions using a
three-step sandwich procedure (e.g., weakness question):
(1) Repeat
(2) Respond
(3) Redirect
(1) Repeat:
"It is an important/interesting/... question, thanks for bringing it up. So
you are asking ...., is it right?". After the positive response:
(2) Respond (the key part of the answer) using three parts: what it is, why
it is, and how you deal with it. Let me use a severe weakness as an example
, always being late.
"I had been often late for meetings and appointments in the past." - what it
is.
"I realized that I was not mature then and decided to change 6 months ago."
- be honest with why it is,
"I made a commitment then to never ever be late for anything, and I did.
Here is my planner and I set clock 15 mins ahead of every appointment since
then", and show him or her your personal planner or cellphone calendar. -
how you deal with it.
(3) Redirect
"It is imperative for me to learn and to mature, and using this example as a
demonstration how I have the commitment to be better and bring benefits to
... company/group/team. I am confident that I am self-disciplined to
continue refraining myself from being late. I am eager to complement your
services/teams and contribute to your best interests for this great team
using my talents and skills, can I work with you now?"

Really difficult question can be: we are using xxx technique which is
different from what you are having. So what is your opinion?
Repeat: Thanks for bringing it up and it is an intriguing question, so you
are using xxx technique, is it right?
Respond: That is the exactly the same reason that I can better contribute
for your team. Because yyy technique can well complement/match/meet/suit
for your xxx technique in ..... areas. I am excited to harmonize the
benefits of xxx and yyy techniques under your supervision." (you need to
use the EXACT same reason they refuse you as the reason they shall hire you.)
Redirect:"I really appreciate that you bring this interesting point, and I
am confident that using my knowledge and skills I can bring all the benefits
to xxx area and make it more profitable/vital/.... product/services for ...
company, and I am dedicated to doing so. Do you want to bring me up to
deliver these benefits?"
