我觉得这个小玩意和公司没啥关系 但是想求个稳妥

条款应该是类似，你要能证明你做这个完全是用的业余时间，绝对没有占用和影响公司
工作的任何时间，那他就是你的，否则是公司的。这个扯淡的地方在于“证明”。
这个project盈利不盈利应该公司是不care的，公司care的是知识产权，所以我觉着没
啥，谁没个hobby project。
这样来讲，你上班刷的题法律上应该属于公司的IP LOL。

this income and hand in it to your HR manager...
ha ha, maybe that is why few people even bother to earn this $20, which
could be the easiest 20 bucks in this world for us... |

听你这么一说我赶快查了下签过的Employment agreement。
你这个不对，起码在加州不对。不过确实需要通知雇主（我们公司是）。
节选（注意看（a））：
Exception to Assignments. I have been notified and understand that the terms
of this Agreement requiring disclosure and
assignment of Inventions to XXXXX do not apply to any invention that
qualifies fully under California Labor Code Section 2870,
which reads:
“(a) Any provision in an employment agreement which provides that an
employee shall assign, or offer to assign,
any of his or her rights in an invention to his or her employer shall not
apply to an invention that the employee
developed entirely on his or her own time without using the employer’s
equipment, supplies, facilities, or trade
secret information except for those inventions that either:
(1) Relate at the time of conception or reduction to practice of the
invention to the employer’s business,
or actual or demonstrably anticipated research or development of the
employer.
(2) Result from any work performed by the employee for the employer.
(b) To the extent a provision in an employment agreement purports to require
an employee to assign an invention
otherwise excluded from being required to be assigned under subdivision (a),
the provision is against the public
policy of this state and is unenforceable.”
While employed, I will advise XXXXX promptly in writing of any inventions
that I believe meet the criteria in California Labor
Code Section 2870 and that I have not disclosed on Exhibit A for a
confidential ownership determination.
