looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years experience developing
large-scale web user interfaces. The candidate will work with a distributed
development/management team to develop a web-based, e-commerce oriented
application. Superior communication skills and the ability to understand
business requirements are essential. Responsibilities include consuming wire
frames, comps and style guides to develop complex web based user interfaces
utilizing CSS, jQuery with a back-end technology in Java/JSP/Web Services.
Heavy interaction with Java developers is required. Experience with GIS
technology such as OpenLayers is desirable. Required Skills: 5+ Years HTML,
CSS, JavaScript 3+ Years JQuery or similar JavaScript framework 3+ Years JSP
and JSTL Expert in hand-coded, cross browser supported, W3C compliant web
pages Expert in UI inspection and debugging tools like Firebug, Google Page
Speed, Y-Slow etc. Demonstrable portfolio of websites developed / involved
is a plus. Also need to have hands on experience with source control
repositories, such as Subversion or GIT. Education: Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science or related field preferred.
