legal job.
First, not a lot of schools, especially top schools, have part-time JD
program. Second, your GPA and law school performance still count, though
your work experience might help you finding a job. Third, many job fairs
will consider part-time students; and you can always switch to full-time (if

between FT and PT students, only that FT does that after 2nd year and PT

full time, they would quit the day job at the end of 3rd year to do summer.
You don't need connections to get a job at biglaw. Just do what FT students
do. Get a respectable GPA and interview well. | F**********s 发帖数: 54 | 5 if you really want to learn, don't do part time. | z***e 发帖数: 1757 | 6 Answers to such question is always inherently depending on your current
career/personal situation and your career objective. Not one-size-fit-all
answer to everyone. If by 前途, you mean a biglaw job earning market rate,
PT has no disadvantage to FT. Of course, among the high-ranking schools,
only a handful offer PT program. If you do not live and work close to those
schools, then PT would not work for you and FT is your only choice. | k********y 发帖数: 84 | 7

Totally agree with this response, I would just add a good legal market in
your city is also very helpful, coz otherwise you may not even get interview
opportunities at OCIs if your school is not in the first tier.
No firm will refuse to interview/offer a student purely because he/she is a
part-timer.
