is how much you need to water, if you have not water for a while, you should
soak it real good first, after that 1 inch every day (You can just set a
can outside and use that as a guage)
In a week, your grass will turn green again.
You can reduce to 1.5 inch every other day if not every hot outside.

time and you should be able to figure out the relationship between time and
water.

cut high if you have cool season grass during hot summer (especially for
those don't like to water a lot), you can cut lower again in fall.
Common cool season grass are Bluegrass, Bentgrass, Ryegrasses and Fescues.
