guess GEICO acts as the broker and markets Traveler's policies.
in your case, as long as the dwelling coverage is > mortgage, lender wouldn'
t complain. besides, the two quotes are very close. i would go w/ the
cheaper one. if you want cheaper still, try to increase the deductible.
normally you need ins for major repairs. small items you fix and pay
yourself... just my 2 cents.

发帖数: 2712 | 3 在homeowner insurance领域，Geico就是一个agent，所以要看geico给你的报价到底是
那个保险公司承保的，有可能是一家叫做fidelity的公司。
大体上是这样的，如果房子没事，那么一切都好。一旦房子有问题，这两个公司索赔怕
都是路漫漫。
可以看一下网上的review。
如果只是应付一下银行的话，就不妨找最便宜的。 | s***e

发帖数: 58 | 5 GeiCO 是通过TRAVELERS给的保险。而且很奇怪，别人都说如房子和车的保险在一起，
会有折扣，可是我打电话过去，他们说不会在房子上有折扣，只是车会有3%折扣， 是
不是也太低了？

有折扣，不过，如果房是travelers，车是Geico的，估计Geico只能在车险上给予优惠
