我觉得， 最重要的就是房子的 inspection, inspection is about $400. so buying
a house agent can probably get $400. $1000 is already too crazy.
of course agent can drive you around to see the open houses, but
apparently
you can do that yourself and that can be paid extra if you use it, say
$50
per drive as a taxi driver.
别的 information etc is important but can not justify the high price too.
thinking of buying a car, a used car. inspection is the most important,
model and make info is pretty much a common sense.
escrow is important of course, and this is not agent's role.
selling house needs some marketing, it is a little tough, but of course
it
is very easy to calculate, the ad price in newspaper etc is all known.
just my opinion. :)

i think buy/sell house should be as easy as buy/sell a stock :)
done in 1 min, and you need do your research beforehand of course.
it is just so silly if there is a buyer and a seller, it costs them so
much
to have a deal closed.

about the client, knows nothing about the house market, just randomly look.

最好所有人都白给你劳动，看你施舍着给，你就认为都合理了。

发帖数: 7506 | 10 你也真能大嘴巴， 5% commission 跟 20% 的小费比。 要是你那旮旯的房子 $200
一个，也没什么好说的。
欧觉得办 loan 的费用相对合理些， loan 就应严格审核把关，除非 LTV 很低。LTV 低的
loan 应该 自动化。
欧对小费没什么意见，就是个社会文化， 入乡随俗而已，中国几亿人吃饭，没有小费也吃得好好的，没
听说哪个服务生唧唧歪歪。

比。
