$30-50/Gal，SW 经常有 sale，HD 和漏厮过节（Labor，Memorial，啥的），Ace，都

发帖数: 13701 | 4 不是。1700 差不多是你家房顶的面积，你大概量量你家每个屋子的周长，加起来，再
乘上 8/9（墙的高度），不就是所有墙的面积啦，再把窗户，门减掉，就可以啦，别忘
了房顶！配油漆的时候店里都有个 code，不够的话再去让人家配成一样的颜色，很容
易。

misestimated the area and bought 10 gallon.
BTW, painting is the least worthwhile DIY job because it is just too time-
consuming. The hourly rate for a painter is about 17. |

发帖数: 13701 | 11 俺家比你家大，上次刷用了大概 20 Gal（记不清了，似乎），房顶和墙用的一样的油
漆（paint+primer 混着的那种，SW 买的，大概45块钱/Gal），刷了两层。另外有的地
方还用 primer 先盖了一层。

If the ceiling is clean, don't try to paint it. Two contractors told me so,
and I found out this is true after painted ceilings of three bedrooms
before I quit painting more.
I used flat for ceiling and eggshell for wall. If you buy the paint from
homedepot or lowes, I think $300-400 is enough. If you hire professional,
get the best paint you can afford.
