Dynamics Engineer position for Wind Energy company down in the Virginia Beach area
. The recruiter said the company is looking to fill this position right away
. If your background matches the job, you can contact him directly.
Good luck!
Ideally (people with experience in some of these topics would quickly adapt
to their
function and be really helpful from the beginning):
•
Experience in wind turbine dynamics and aero elastic analysis
•
Loads calculation in the wind turbine different components for design,
certification and
verification of sites, according to current WTG standards (IEC 61400:1, GL
Rules, DNV
standards, etc.)
•
Use of aero elastic codes for the loads calculations as GH Bladed, FLEX5,
FAST, etc.
•
Experience in the collaboration in the definition of operation, emergency
and safety
strategies.
•
Experience in the definition of requirements for loads validation and
results analysis.
•
Correlation and updating of aero elastic models.
Alternatively (people with experience in some of these topics could be
trained, but they
won’t be really helpful until some months after their recruitment):

topics:
•

•

fatigue.
•

•

•
