Washington DC. Fortunately obama took a break from the golf course in
Martha's Vineyard to address the nation and explain to us mere mortals what
had happened.
His highness spoke only briefly:
"When an earthquake happens in California we all know it's the San Andreas
Fault. This one, near our nation's capital, was Bush's Fault."
Interestingly, after the earthquake, the stock market rallied and
the DOW soared up 322 points, as investors responded to a rumor that the
White House and Capitol Hill had been evacuated and would not be open for
work for another eight months.
Today, the day after the incident, there are continuing developments in
this story.
obama is now blaming the earthquake for our nation's high unemployment
- - bemoaning the episode as just some more of a string of "bad luck" after
he fixed our economy during the first six months of his Administration!
And now Maxine Waters has launched a Congressional investigation
into the quake's suspicious ties to the Tea Party.
Conservatives however have their own theory. They are convinced that
the quake was caused by the Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves. |
