Zootopia was the most in your face mind control I have seen. The Utopian
bait has been placed as motivation to obey the elite. Good movie though.
Don't Read this if you haven't seen the movie.
This movie was great. Obviously. So well done.
But the entire time I was cringing over every single brainwashing technique
they were using to glamorize a future Utopian society.
This movie has painted a gorgeous picture of how a Utopian society could
look like. But this future is more entrenched in the corporate system than
even we are in now.
But if you really look at it, this future that is so glamorized is just our
society now, but super efficient (in such a "cool" and "cute" way). Great
for holding a much larger population, and it handles size differences very
well. But the corporate system is still intact. I mean the entire first
scene when she gets off the train is blatantly putting that in your face (
they aren't trying to hide it). All the hamsters in line with their suits,
the huge billboards and ads, and everything else. I definitely would say in
this future they showed, corporations are running things MORE. Everything
flows together so perfectly because absolutely everything is well under "
control."
I mean the protagonist of the movie is a bunny that is a COP. The justice
system is completely glamorized. You find yourself rooting for her to give
out parking meter violations the second they expire (because it's cute how
good she is at it). The rest of the cops seemed to act just like our current
ones do. Easily likely to be dishonest and abuse their power.
The villain in the movie talks of the 90% vs. the 10%. She is talking about
the 10% of predators vs. the 90% of prey. She felt that the prey were not
being represented and taken seriously. That they were being controlled by
the predators. Well if you use the example of the justice system, there was
definitely a prejudice against small animals like the bunny. Anyway I know
this villain was "bad" and did not use ethical methods. But the whole idea
of changing anything in the status quo is what ends up being villainized.
They end the movie with "we all have to accept each other as we are and our
differences" or something like that. "We need to accept and love Zootopia
how it is and how it is run." So yeah the elite should stay the elite. That
it is NOT OKAY to change the perfect corporate controlled system.
It would be interesting to watch the movie again with a notepad and take
note of each small little thing they put in yourface that is backward and is
obviously trying to get into people's subconscious. There would be hundred
and hundreds of examples. They impress the hell out of me how well they did
this. They have literally put this movie in front of our faces as BAIT to
get us to do what they want. This is now motivation to trust them, because
eventually we can live in a cute little world like that.
This movie is going to be a global sensation. It was incredibly well done.
Great humor, edgy in certain ways, and gorgeous to look at.
So that is sort of sad to me. This movie is going to work very well doing
exactly what they intend it to do. |

我觉得解读成AA的人有点过于敏感了，兔子感觉像ASIAN FEMALE的形象，最后兔子开车
，狐狸开玩笑问这个开车不行是不是真的是你们的stereotype已经很明显暗示ASIAN了
。看完了觉得挺舒服的。
