Do you want a real answer or a psyop? The real reason why westerners are "
obsesed" with Japan, and SOUTH Korea is because Japan, and south Korea are
obediant to the west. Western oligarks want to hold south Korea, and Japan
up to a pedestal, because they want to set them as an example. Kind of like
the model minority. You play by the rules, and we’ll give you recognition.
Certainly, you wouldn't want to set a rebel as an example, because then
others would start rebeling, and western oligarks don't want that.
Next, your question actually doesn't make sense, because what we see is that
south Koreans, and Japanese are the ones who are obsesed with westerners
and not the other way around. This is why anime characters often have big
round blue eyes, as opposed to slanted black eyes that the animators
actually have. Just the word “anime” alone is a western word based off of
the word “animation”. The Japanese have actually reversed their name order
to please the west. For example, a Abe Shinzo calls himself Shinzo Abe. You
don’t see too many westerners calling themselves Clinton Bill. The
Japanese are also obsesed with baseball, an Amerikan sport. Any “artist”
that is big in the west automatically becomes big in Japan, not so for
Japanese “artists” though. In fact, 99% of westerners couldn’t name a
single Japanese artist. The same goes for films. A movie like Transformers
will automatically be flooded in Japanese, and south Korean theaters, but 99
% of westerners couldn’t tell you a single Japanese, or south Korean movie
that they have ever seen.
Relatively few westerners take much of an interest in Korea, or Japan. In
fact, what we see is that westerners are obsesed with western culture. This
is why a European is more likely to watch a Hollywood film than a Korean, or
Japanese film. Likewise, an Amerikan is much more likely to watch a
European film than a Korean, or Japanese film. You look at the so called
south Korean, and Japanese celebrities, and there's nothing traditional
about them. They dye their hair to be more western. They dress western. Some
of them even bleach their skin.
Now the reason why westerners find south Korea, or Japan more acceptable is
because both south Korea, and Japan bases their ideas and values off of the
west. Let's use south Korea for an example. They are most known for Gang Nam
style. That's a rap song. Rap originates in Amerika. So in that sense,
westerners are simply accepting something that was western to begin with,
rather than embracing something that was genuinely Korean. If you watch the
Gang Nam style video, you'll also notice that the singer is wearing
sunglasses, covering up the main distinguishing feature that makes him
Korean.
Now let's look at Japan. They are perhaps most well known for a couple of
things. One is anime. The most well known anime is probably Dragon Ball,
which is based on a Chinese story (Xiyouji). There goes the "prapagandists"
claim on genuine products. The other thing that the Japanese are known for
is Karate, another thing that was copied from China. The original name for
Karate was Tangshoudao. The Tang comes from China's Tang dynasty. The
Japanese never had Karate until they sent their students into Fuzhou to
learn from China.
So the hype has nothing to do with the content that is coming out of SK, and
Japan, but more to do with politics.
As far as prapaganda goes, we can actually say that the south Korean, and
Japanese "entertainment" is prapgadandist. If you are promoting western
values, kapitalism and materialism, doesn't that make it prapaganda also?
Because that's precisely the core of south Korean, and Japanese pop culture.
They're not telling you to be yourself, and save your money. They're
telling you to get plastic surgery, go out and buy name brands. People don't
normally wake up one day and decide to get plastic surgery, or buy name
brands. It's prapagandized.
As for the reason why Chinese culture, or entertainment is sensored out of
the western mainstream, it is largely due to China being politically
disobedient to the west at times. As I mentioned before, the last thing you
want is for the perceived rebel to get any spotlight. That way, the western
oligarky discourages others from disenting, and keeps people in line.
The west needs SK, and Japan to destablilize China and project western
interests in the region, therefore, the west has to give concesions in the
entertainment industry in order to gain the cooperation of sK, and Japan.
This is why SK, and Japan are sensationalized in the media. | m*****n
