=======DIGITAL PRESENTATION=========
In regular presentation light is projected through a film to create the
image on the screen.
In digital presentation, there is no film. The image comes from a digital
file, like an mp3 file. The data is decompressed, decoded and used to
control a liquid crystal through which light is projected...or perhaps to
control red green and blue light projectors.....
Digital presentations don't use film like traditional projectors. They use a
hard disk or similar drive to store the movie and a digital projector to
show it.
A bit like how still cameras don't use film any more. All the pictures are
stored digitally.
=========NO PASSES============
New releases are labeled "no-pass" meaning you have to pay full admission
even if you have a coupon.

发帖数: 668 | 3 刚才又在AMC网站看了一下，很多电影都标有NO PASSES，即便已经上映2周以上的电影
也有标这个。
我手里一大把AMC GOLD TICKET，过去一直没注意这个问题，似乎也能买NO PASSES的电
