scenes are pretty dark so the depth effect is so so. I might watch it again
in 2D just to make sure. | m**t 发帖数: 166 | 2 Why do you need to watch 2D twice?

perfectly ok to watch the 2d version. I want my 16 back!

beyond the window"-which give pic deep layer. Some directors think "before
the window" is too gimmicky and don't like to use them, Scott is one of them
. But for Promethus "beyond window effect" is absolutely stunning!!

| m*********e 发帖数: 944 | 6 I think 3D is a gimick. This "beyond window effect" is a marginal
improvement over better story and camera work, and does not offer a
compelling reason to shell out extra dollars to watch a movie in 3D, except
for movie geeks, like me. IMAX experience might be different, but it has to
be a true IMAX theater, though.
If somebody plan to watch Promethus at least two times, watch it in 3D for
the second time so you don't have to focus on the story line, and can look
around to enjoy the 3D.
