Normally, you don't punish a school for violations committed by a single
player if the school didn't have anything to do with the violation and did
not know about the violation.
In USC's case, the NCAA decided that USC must have known about Reggie Bush's
extra benefits and the best "evidence" the NCAA had against USC was that
USC coaches knew Reggie Bush bought a car in 2005 (even though it was a 9-
year old used car).

I am really surprised that with four years investigation and crazy media
exposure, NCAA was only able to find some indirect evidence on a single
player. that showed how competent NCAA is. I doubt they would be able to do
any better this time with the OSU case

su全面挖，不断有新料，我军危险啊。比usc好的最重要一点是和ncaa有cooperation,
认罪态度好一点, 另外金额比usc小
不过总的来说，问题不是球员收了多少钱，问题是JT lied to NCAA. 现在osu把黑锅
让JT全顶下来了，就是教练个人问题。也算是个不错的argument。if so, penalty
won't be too heavy

's real crime was acting like arrogant d*cks. Their attitude toward the
NCAA investigation was basically "we didn't do anything wrong so f*ck off!"
In the eyes of the NCAA, that was worse than any infraction committed. OSU
has been much smarter in dealing with the NCAA, giving them plenty of face.
