distressed cities.
Appropriations to Camden, Paterson, Jersey City, Union City and Bridgeton
were approved today.
The approvals came despite objections from Republicans, including incoming
Gov. Chris Christie.
Christie has not ruled out trying to rescind some of the aid after his
inauguration next week.
Republican Sen. Steve Oroho, who sits on the Senate's budget committee,
