和媒體正在為緬懷911而行動時，這種獨特的視角受到了人們的敬意。
這名女攝影師名叫夏洛特，今年34歲。為尋找這僅存的12條英雄犬，她在今年年初
曾走遍了美國的12個州。在她的鏡頭下，這些搜救犬均已顯老態，用網友的話說，它們
憂鬱的眼神讓人不忍多看。目前，在微博上被廣泛轉發，引發了世界網友的關注。
當年襲擊發生後，受美國聯邦應急管理局的派遣，近百名搜尋人員曾帶領各自的搜
救犬在紐約世貿中心和華盛頓五角大樓進行搜救。當時，這些犬的年齡大多在兩歲以上
，而犬的壽命一般在13至18年，因此它們現在已步入老年。
