时间：7/24 周二傍晚7:00 - 9:00PM
时间：7/28 周六傍晚6:00 - 8:00PM
人物：任何年龄和水平的女生(姐妹、大妈、大婶儿)，只要喜欢篮球的都欢迎！男生(
兄弟、大叔、大伯)，只要愿意陪练者欢迎。

（1）开车的话，免费停车场在篮球场边；
（2）坐公共交通的话，公共车N25, N26, N20, N21均在步行范围内有站停；

Subject: Women’s Basketball Activities (scrimmage games & Tournament)
Purpose: To unite women basketball players in all skill levels to
exercise safely and joyfully, to improve the life quality of our female
friends and neighbors - to live healthier physically and mentally.
Organizer: NYSA Women’s Basketball Club (NYSA - New Yorkers Sports
Association, non-profit organization)

(1) Free parking next to the basketball courts;

(A) Weekly Routine Schedule
Calendar: Every Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00PM & Every Saturday 6:00 - 9:00PM (last
till our September tournament)
(B) Two Saturday Tournament
Calendar: Two Saturday 9/22 & 29 (if rain, 9/23 & 9/30 will be the backup
date)
Registration Fee: $120 per team for 4 persons (each player will receive a
reversible jersey)
Prizes for Team: All participants will earn free first year membership with
NYSA Women’s Basketball Club. The club would arrange routine practice and
games every week and will provide the indoor courts, judges, coaches, if
needed.
Volunteer: Always welcome. You can help your community in a great way.

2012 New Yorkers Sports Association
Women’s Basketball Club
[3 on 3 Tournament Proposal]
Purposes: Through the basketball games to unite our local communities,
encourage women basketball players in all skill levels to exercise and
enrich their healthy life.
Organizer: New Yorkers Sports Association (Non-profit organization) Women’s
Basketball Club
Activity title: The tournament will be named by the Diamond Sponsor
Teams: Estimate minimum of 7 teams and as many as 16 teams, divided by
Group A & Group B as needed.
Calendar: The tournament will be holding on September 22nd and 29th, 2012
two whole Saturdays event (September 23rd and 30th will be the backup
dates if rain).
Game Venues: The Whitney Pond Park Basketball Courts in Manhasset, New York
Game mode: Minimum of 6 games for each team and as many as 15 games if
necessary. 3 points for each game won and 1 point for each game lost. The
First, Second and Third places will be formed by adding the winning points.
Registration Fee: $120 per team for 4 persons (each player will receive a
reversible jersey).
Prizes for Team: Trophies will be presented to the First, Second and Third
prize winner. All participants will earn free first year membership with
NYSA Women's Basketball Club. The club would arrange routine practice and
games and provide the indoor courts, judges, coaches, if needed.
Budget:
Facilities rent $850
Advertisement $1,500
Rewards and trophies $500
Compensation for referees and service labors $1,500
Total $4,350
Sponsors: Divide into the following 3 different categories. All the
sponsors will be appreciated on the event’s all occasions and will be
invited to attend the press conferences, opening and closing ceremonies.
The sponsor’s name will be mentioned on all related advertisement and
banners.
1. Diamond Sponsor: commit a supporting donation of $3000 – Have the naming
right of the tournament, free advertisement on players’ jersey, press
conference and media reports, award the First Prize winner and set up three
tables at the days of the tournament.
2. Golden Sponsor: commit a supporting donation of $1000-$2000. – Award
the Second Prize winner free advertisement on players’ jersey, press
conference and media reports and set up two tables at the days of the
tournament.
3. Friendship Sponsor: commit a supporting donation of $300-$500 – Free
advertisement on press conference and media and set up one table at the days
of the tournament.
Schedules:
1. Press Conference will be held on August 15th, 2012 Wednesday and
advertisement on local news media and major Chinese media will follow.
Commencing to accept team registration.
2. Ending registration on September 5th, 2012 Wednesday. Meeting with all
team leaders and coaches on the game site to arrange the game details on
September 15, 2012 Saturday.
3. Opening ceremony on September 22, 2012 before the first game tip-off.
Town of North Hempstead Supervisor/Commissioner, Chinese-American
City Councilman and State assembly woman will be invited to address for the
event.
4. The competition (selected) will be video recorder by ICN and NYTV8 and
can
be reviewed by anytime through internet.
5. The closing ceremony will be held right after the final championship game.
Town of North Hempstead Supervisor/Commissioner, New York City
Controller, Mr. John Liu, is expected to address the conclusion and award
the trophies.
