I graduated from a nursing program in California (ADN), and I am going to
apply Visa screen soon. here is my question, based on CGFN's information, I
can apply Appeal revocation VisaScreen® Certificate or 212(r) Certified
Statement. however, it says "hold a current, valid and unrestricted license
from one of the five designated Section 212(r) states — Florida, Georgia,
Illinois, Michigan, and New York;" I licensed in California, am I eligible
to apply?

and qualifies them to receive a certified Statment from CGFNS as an
alternative process in lieu of a VisaScreen® Certificate.
What is a 212(r) Certified Statement?
Section 212(r) of IIRIRA authorizes CGFNS to issue Certified Statements to
foreign educated nurse who meet the criteria. The 212(r) requirements are:
