发帖数: 180 | 1 我想一个大学申请一个大学Accerelated BSN,把大学成绩送给一个评估公司评估,结果
是相当于美国的MD.申请的那个大学说因为你相当于美国的MD(graduate level),所以不
能申请Accerelated BSN.实际上,中国医学院毕业是undergraduate level,和美国不同,
这儿是graduate level.他们不了解中美医学教育体制的不同.不知这儿有没有遇到类似
情况的朋友?你们的评估公司的评估结果也是MD吗?该如何和学校解释?

发帖数: 180 | 3 不是ECE评的,但也是很多学校接受的.他们也提到我在中国是拿的BACHELOR DEGREE of Medicine,但又说相当于这儿的MD.你的评估的结果BACHELOR DEGREE是指相当于这儿的BACHELOR DEGREE 吗?可是美国并没有对等于中国的Bachelor degree in medicine啊.一般评估都要说相当于美国的
xx学位,但Medicine比较特殊,中国的Bachelor of Medicine只能相当于这儿的MD.另外
一个学校自己评估成绩单,也说Medical School是Graduate Level啊? | s*******y

我们班也有MASTER DEGREE 后又上的ABSN,老美还有好多拿了PHD又转别的专业的从头开
始读的,Graduate Level不Graduate Level有什么关系,我愿意从BSN读学分更应该承认.

发帖数: 152 | 5 现在还要评估啊，我当时就直接申请的。就算是graduate level, 也算是换专业了吧，
我当时试图转些专业课，那个主任说连美国医学院的课程他们都不接受。我觉得美国这
边个案处理会有很大差别，看你什么态度了。我的经验就是要让他们知道你非常积极，
不达目的跟他没完，他最终就会松动了。 | M*******4
发帖数: 180 | 6 主要是如果等同于MD，你就没有Bachelor degree,当然不能申请Second degree.别的专
业即使你是Ph.D也没关系，只要你有Bachelor Degree.

已经申请了ABSN。 | M*******4

require me to verify my credential at the time when i applied. i cant seen
any point why you are not qualify to apply the program with a MD degree
because it was a shine point for me. by the way, nursing and medicine are
totally different field.
my suggestions:
1. contact the person who does the administration at the nursing department.
tell them how enthusiastic you are in nursing field and your background

发帖数: 180 | 10 谢谢你的建议.我email那个学校负责ABSN的人,她的回复是;ABSN的申请必须是有相当于
US Bachelor Degree的人.我的相当于US Doctor of Medicine (MD),所以不能申请.和
她解释因为USA没有so called"Bachelor of medicine",中国Bachelor of medicine只
能相当于US MD,但她不理.我申请了另外一个学校,他们自己评估的,申请已经接受了.我
已有Green card,所以不担心身份问题.另外,我想问问:你医学院已经学过的先修课是否
可以转过来?
