发帖数: 776 | 1 去年十月份从boostmobile官网买了个全新的iphone 6，在R+上用了几个月，决定还是
回到android
机子，就从R+上swap了下来（已经过了一个billing cycle了）。今天在craigslist上
卖出去了（没有把sim卡给买家）。买家是sprint的postpaid monthly plan。他的
iphone进水了，他想保留他的号和postpaid monthly plan。卖给他时他说他马上去
Sprint store transfer，如果不行的话再退给我，我同意了。
后来果然不行。他说Sprint store的人说这是prepaid phone，并且我没有用正确的方
式结束我的prepaid plan，机子还在我名下，不能转到他的postpaid monthly plan上
。就把机子退回给我了。我检查了一下机子，没有什么问题。
我不太理解为什么会出现这种情况。我刚刚在R+和Ting上都查了一下IMEI，说是可以立
即激活。
我需要做什么能保证下一个买家可以正常使用这个iphone6？ebay上解锁不知道能否成
功。如果解锁成功，这个机子可以在四大网通用？

weeks many hours to activate new phone.
Short answer is you are screwed if you buy iPhone from sprint sub carriers
especially Boostmobile. If you want to switch back to sprint, both
Boostmobile and sprint have to agreed to Manually remove this iPhone from
prepaid and register with sprint. Even their rep rarely know how to do. A
few Apple Store staff may know but it takes great amount of time for them to
direct carriers to do so.
I decide to never buy again from sprint subcarriers.
Sprint and each of its subcarriers have individual way of register. Switch
is all manual

发帖数: 1696 | 4 Btw, ironically, sprint's own prepaid plan doesn't take iPhone 6/6s at all.
Boostmobile has 12 month unlock policy but most of its rep tell you they don
't lock and cannot unlock.
Sprint has tried its best to stop iPhone transfer.
For me it was to replace but same process.

发帖数: 5337 | 6 没看明白，boostmobile买的机器，在Ringplus激活不是用着挺好的吗？留着用，或者
卖的时候注明之前用在Ringplus上没问题，不知道能不能在其他网络激活就行了。
我之前在ebay上卖过淘汰的S3，是FREEDOMPOP那里买的，买家说不能激活在Sprint，我
也不知道为什么，但退回来以后我激活了RINGPLUS没问题。
Sprint这一点的确恶心，其他三家包括Verizon现在都实现SIM card即插即用了。 |

Can this iPhone be unlocked then? I saw someone on ebay is providing unlock
service. Any experience with that?

发帖数: 5635 | 9 you should unlock boostmobile iphone before you use it. Otherwise you need
to use boostmobile service over 6 months. but you can try ebay unlock
service, some ebay sellers will refund your money if they cant unlock your
phone.

reseller的prepaid。除非能full unlock还可能。
