the fall. I had a few meetings with his teacher and learned that his social
skills need a lot of improvement. He is eager to play with others but doesn'
t know how to interact with them. In case of conflicts, he sometimes pushed,
hit, or scratched other children as a means of solving the problem. When
playing with another child, he likes to control/dominates things, not
knowing compromise or negotiation. Sometimes, he acted like a "class clown"
to get attention from others. He is doing very well in math and reading,
and can respond quickly and correctly to the things he is interested in.
However, for the things he doesn't like to do or is afraid of doing, he is
lack of attention and can easily get bored/distracted.
I welcome all comments/suggestions from you. I am thankful to death. I have
a few specific questions and hope you can help me.
1. I plan to invite kids over to our house in the weekend. I will be
watching them as they play. What kind of toys (especially outdoor toys/games
) attract children of this age?
2. What kind of social activities do you bring your children to? We live in
a small town and don't socialize a lot. It seems the only way to socialize
and expose my child to a group of people is to join church, which we don't
want to do. Any suggestions? | x*****i

he has no problem communicating with others in English.

他现在已经5岁了，坏习惯不是一天两天就养成的。只能说，
你们一直没意识到他的行为是不能被他人接受的。

you could role play with him, simulate different situations and show him

关于课外social, 这么大没有参加什么课外活动吗？这么大的男孩可以去报篮球班，足
球班，各种体育班。。。非常有利于集体意识的培养。 | a****l

自己管教不行吗？看专家感觉就是mental方面有问题了。
我怎么觉得男孩这个年龄这样的行为虽然是不成熟的表现，但并不少见。比如我儿子上
K，他们班的男生因为玩具和别人推搡或者闹脾气好像挺常见的，我儿子也会被老师告
状，大概平均1-3次/月吧，他班上最小的男孩(刚满5岁)，这类事情发生地更多，每周1
-3次都不奇怪。所以我觉得他们这个年龄这样很正常，难道是很不正常的，也要去看专
家？

发帖数: 743 | 14 我觉着应该不需要看什么专家，这些行为大都属于这么大孩子正常的行为。不过应该注
意引导。楼主认为老师平时对孩子怎么样？这些行为都是在刚发生时，立即予以教育、
说服最有成效。家长回家后可以配合老师告诉他什么应该，什么不好，但最重要的是讲
清理由，让孩子从根本上理解。
我觉着你找孩子到家玩，自己观察，很好。另外，平时有意识带着孩子干一些他不感兴
趣，害怕干的事情，鼓励他，帮助他克服心理恐惧感。还有就是注意你们跟孩子说活的
方式，是不是商量、探讨方式的。 |
