两年前借着[For the Children's Sake: Foundations of Education for Home and
School]这本书接触到Charlotte Mason的教育理念，感觉耳目一新。让我重新思考究竟
什么是教育，教育的目的是什么。
Charlotte Mason 是十九世纪末二十世纪初的英国教育家。随着美国homeschooling运
动的兴起，她的与众不同的教育理念被重新“发现”，被许多private homeschool和
private school 采用。我个人觉得，她的教育理念，原则是放之四海皆准。，不管孩
子上的是公立，私立，或家庭学校，作父母的都能从她的理念原则中获益。
Charlotte Mason 在她的著作和她的学校里， 对孩子的人格表现极大的尊重，但是决
