Hi Everyone,
I'm admitted to MSCF at CMU this year and I deferred for personal reason. I
feel lucky for my admission because my educational and working background
are quantitative/technical and I don't have finance working experience. The
only thing I did well is that I impressed one the professor at CMU very
much with my potential to learn.
However, after looking around the background of the current students, I
really don't have confidence to find a good job after MSCF. Most people have

bachelor in business . Math is in category 3 in China.
master of science in public policy at CMU.studying some IT and statistics.
use SAS programming extensively now.
