自己也有一个200－300m，5年左右的fund的offer
因为好像hedge fund的failure rate很高，不知道去了以后前途怎么样啊，如果公司最
后不行了在跳去别的fund或者工作容易吗 |

请大家多仔细解释缘由。 |

发帖数: 1912 | 8 prop trading is a different business model. 200m is a big number for prop
trading. It is their own money.
for hedge fund, can't raise money means they either have bad performance or
have bad relationship with investors. Hence the chance to fail is high.

performance before lock in serious money. Plus depending on where you start
with, pension funds, fofs alike usually have max potion requirement, meaning
they cannot exceed certain percentage of your total. say you start with 50m
, they may only be able to put 10m with you.
imo, staying with hf as a REAL researcher gives you a lot more than you may
get as a top tier ib mid-/back-office dev/quant, assuming job security is
not on your top list.

3年之后，到5年，有两年，这两年间都涨不上去，就更没戏了
