I have a hamstring problem since last Saturday. I kind of want to blame it
on finishing a recovery run in a rush without stretching.
The next day (Sunday) I did 17miles on treadmill which was ok since I was
slow-:)
Monday and Tuesday, both hamstring felt sore and not comfortable when
walking, and I did 20min biking in gym.
Tuesday(12mile) and Today(9mile): my hamstring were still sore but they were
ok when I started to run. Somehow I feel I could run even faster than
before but I did not push too much. After the run today, both hamstrings
are still sore when I walk, but it seems I can still run.
I guess I am going to try running through this, at least this weekend. One
thing occurred to me now is that the sore feeling on the hamstring happened
to me before was during my tapering for the last Marathon. and this week is
a recovery week in the plan I am following...Is the recovery week also a
trigger for this hamstring sore?

没看明白,hamstring sore是什么意思?难道就是不舒服,不疼吗?
如果伤到了,往往是hamstring这里有肌肉牵连,如果不把它整理好继续跑,只会越来
越重,就跟我一样。有条件的可以找理疗,没有条件的找人帮忙用擀面杖使劲擀,这招
我不保证有效,因为擀面的人不一定懂你的肌理不一定能擀好。比较有经验的理疗师按
摩师可以摸出里面的肌肉纠结程度,尽量帮你揉开,然后你趁这个势头去小跑几圈,纠
结的地方有一定几率可以散开,再多recovery一段时间就会没事了。这点时间RICE是不
要少,尽量减少运动量。

我不知道不舒服和疼有什么差别。。。
主要是来的很突然,就周六recovery跑了之后就开始,
不知道能不能run through,想通过多做stretch来帮助恢复

hehe,莫非人家都是突然加量受伤,你是减量受伤?
感觉不是啥大问题,慢跑之后拉伸看看。

有时加量后,伤或痛当天可能还没感觉,得等第2,3天才出现。
你recovery之前就伤了,你的17miles recovery (不知是否还应称为recovery,
17miles 作为recovery我认为太长)使你的sore加重。
若果是我,我宁肯保守点减量减速度。

WOW~ 17miles on treadmill.. 记在小本本上。。
肌肉酸应该不是大问题, 多stretch 多休息 多喝水, 冰敷或许也有用。。。

It can take some time for muscle soreness to show up, typically 48 hours
after the hard workouts. Easy & recovery runs can reduce muscle soreness. If
you are taking rest days in tapering, then muscle soreness can be more
pronounced, but it should not be a problem.
In my experience, there are two different kinds of muscle soreness -- what I
would call "hot soreness" and "cold soreness" -- just terms that I made up.
cold/ice water on your muscles help easing the discomfort. With "cold
soreness", you feel that cold water doesn't help, and rather you need warm
up the muscle to make it comfortable. The latter is potentially more serious
and is likely a slightly pulled muscle.

Thanks! I think it is a "hot soreness" according to your vocabulary-:)
I had a 5 mile recovery run this morning. Noticed the discomfort started
after about 3 miles. But it felt good after the run, and the discomfort
appeared again after about 2 hours of run when I sit in the car...Nothing
wrong when I compress the muscle using fingers.

Have not swim for more than half a year...
But I felt the biking also helps. It feels super good when the inclination
is high, for which I guess it is because the legs are doing a large range of
motion.

17mile这个怎么设啊?
我用的跑步机都是最多跑一个小时的。
