About Shandong University
山东大学是一所历史悠久、在国内外具有重要影响的教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国
家“211 工程”和“985 工程”重点建设的高水平大学之一，也是中国近代高等教育的
起源性大学。
Shandong University (SDU) is a time-honored comprehensive university under
the direct jurisdiction of China’s Ministry of Education. It is a member
university of Project 211 and Project 985, two major national initiatives
seeking to enhance the international competitiveness of the top-tier
universities in China. As one of the original higher education institutions
in modern China, SDU has become highly influential both at home and abroad.
近年来山东大学实现了跨越式发展，学校的综合办学实力和竞争力明显增强，其中化学
、物理、临床医学、材料科学、生物学与生物化学、工程学、药理学与毒理学、神经科
学与行为、数学、环境工程与生态学、免疫学、植物与动物学、分子生物学与遗传学、
农业科学、社会科学总论等15个学科进入了世界ESI排名的前1%。学校规模宏大，形成
了一校三地（济南、青岛、威海）、八个校园的办学格局,其中青岛校区已于今年启用。
In recent years, SDU has leapfrogged in its development, with remarkably
enhanced overall strength and competitiveness. Fifteen of its disciplines
rank among the top 1% in the ESI Ranking. These include Chemistry, Physics,
Clinical Medicine, Material Science, Biology and Biochemistry, Engineering,
Pharmacology and Toxicology, Neuroscience and Behavior, Mathematics,
Environmental Engineering and Ecology, Immunology, Plant and Animal Science,
Molecular Biology and Genetics, Agricultural Science as well as Social
Science. SDU comprises eight campuses in three cities (Jinan, Qingdao and
Weihai), with the Qingdao Campus starting to enroll students in 2016.
为实现建设世界一流大学的战略目标，我校制定了一系列高层次人才引进计划，竭诚欢

To achieve the strategic goal of joining the ranks of world-class
universities, SDU has launched a series of programs to recruit outstanding

论坛简介
About the Forum
齐鲁科技论坛将于山东大学校庆日期间举办，旨在搭建海内外优秀青年学者学术交流的
平台，通过学术报告和研讨，促进海内外青年学者之间的交流和合作。
The Qilu Forum on Science and Technology will be held during the anniversary
celebration of SDU. It aims to serve as a platform for outstanding young
scholars from all over the world to conduct academic exchanges as well as to
promote academic cooperation amongst these scholars through academic
reports and seminars.
论坛采取主论坛和分论坛相结合的方式，拟设置数学、材料科学与工程、生物学、物理
学、化学、机械工程、土木工程、控制科学与工程、大数据处理与可视计算、动力工程
及工程热物理、空间科学与天文（威海）十一个分论坛。
The forum will feature a main forum along with eleven sub-forums, namely
Mathematics, Materials Science and Engineering, Biology, Physics, Chemistry,
Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Control Science and Engineering,
Dig Data Processing and Visual Computing, Power Engineering and Engineering
Thermophysics, Space Science and Astronomy.

Application Requirements
(Meeting either of the two requirements)
1.青年千人、青年拔尖人才、优青及青年长江获得者；
2.年龄在38岁以下；具有海外知名大学博士学位，或者具有国内知名大学博士学位，并
在海外工作2年以上；在本领域取得具有重要学术影响的标志性研究成果，具有较强的
学术潜力，学术水平居于本学科领域同年龄段学者前列的海内外优秀青年人才。
1. Being a member of the Thousand Talent Program for Young Outstanding
Scientists, or a member of the Young Top-notch Talents Support Program, or a
member of the National Natural Science Foundation for Outstanding Youth or
a member of the Young Cheung Kong Scholars Program.
2. Being an outstanding young scholar from home or abroad under the age of
38, who has received a doctor’s degree in a prestigious overseas university
or who has received a doctor’s degree in a prestigious university in the
mainland of China and has more than two years’ overseas working experience;
having made remarkable achievements with significant academic influence in
a certain field; enjoying strong development potential and outshines one’s
peers academically.

主办单位为每位受邀参会学者提供往返差旅经费一万元人民币（实报实销），论坛期间
食宿由主办单位统一安排。
SDU will reimburse each invitee up to 10000 RMB for round trip travel
expenses. Accommodation during the forum will be covered by SDU.
