It is written that "The Sunrise area and road will be opening July 1st at 8:

Southwest - Year round access to the park is via SR 706 to the Nisqually
Entrance in the southwest corner of the park. Do we need to enter from here?
We wanna go there tomorrow, and visit Paradise, Sunrise, etc. We also wanna
hike a trail for a while, not hard, not long.
Can anyone give me some directions and suggestions on where to enter, and
the order of visiting these places?

发帖数: 1586 | 2 今年雪很多，visitor center外面就都是雪，trail都还埋在雪底下呢，
所以没什么trail可以hike，除非你有什么snowshoe之类的以及防水的hiking boots。

发帖数: 8405 | 5 长周末刚去过，像上面说的，sunrise还都是雪，trail没法走，山上的湖水也没有溶冰
。现在如果去rainier，最好是去山脚下的wonderland trail，那是环山的一个loop,可
以只走一段，非常美。 |

发帖数: 1586 | 6 wonderland trail要走到Summerland才好看，这个季节那里真是人间仙境的感觉，
我走过这么多地方，还没有见过比那里更美的。
强烈推荐大家有机会hike进去看一看，一定不会失望的。
其实在那里camping更好，就是permit难搞，一般也只能day hike进去看看。
不过确实有点长了，肯定不满足lz“not hard, not long”的要求。

发帖数: 8405 | 7 是有点难, but it's worthy. 从carbon river 出发，可以选简单的到湖边的一段试试
，那一段我觉得还行，本人的体力相当差啊。
