But so far it seems fine to stay 12 miles away as the city is pretty clean
and sparse (to walk dog unleashed :) )
And of course the mountains stand beautifully there.
Never felt Salt Lake city area so attractive when I passed by it before
multiple times.

American pets are well taken care of. The chance of spreading diseases by
domestic dogs is very very tiny. I couldn't understand how to keep water
clean with thousands of wild animals around under this logic.
By the way, local government dumps tons of money into Lake Tahoe to keep
it blue and recover its high clarity as old years. Nobody complains about

friendly ski resort in the world. The whole Squaw village is just a big dog
park. When we come down to have a lunch break, Sierra could play around with
his canine buddies.
Human and animals are harmonized perfectly in the mountain.

reminded me of Mammoth immediately. So we decided to put the all mountain
skis on. Yet Had partial funs in the castle area early the day. Can see how
the open area can become super in blizzard. Knowing the storm in already at
Sacramento and will come here tomorrow, we didn't attempt to pretend this is
the best powder day. Powder has become dense and threw snow balls out my nose and
mouth was fun.

Have you guys tried Park City, Deer Valley, and The Conyons? Those are
resorts in Wasatch Mountain BACK and close to towns and probably not spring
water reservation places.
I would guess they welcome dogs. Of course, you pay more than the Wasatch
FRONT (SLC) resorts'.

发帖数: 23691 | 22 I did check hotels in Park city-Deer Valley area. Out of so many hotels,
only two take dogs. The lowest number in my hotel search history. Most of
time, 1/5-1/3 of hotels returned as pet-friendly. In some well-known pet-
friendly cities, such as Vancouver, BC,about 1/2 hotels welcome pets. So I
really doubt if Utah mountains welcome dogs.
Anyway, we came to SLC for skiing and taste famous ALta/Snowbird. The hotel
we stay at Sandy is not bad and not too far from the ski resorts.

canyon or citycreek canyon, they are all dog-friendly, and you can walk dog

XYZOK in his home base. Never even need to look at the trail map :)
Condition was top form again even though the powder is on the heavy side and
it got warm in the afternoon. Receive great hospitality at XYZOK's home
having hot pot with easilifee and kolaz was fun and fulfilling too.
Will ski at Alta with easilifee tomorrow :) too bad Kolaz has riding class
to attend then...

Alta had free demo today. I had bad opinion of it at the beginning as it
appeared distracting. But that feeling was soon gone once I locked a volkl
可她娜 (a stiffer version of volkl 狗它妈). 183cm with 111cm underfoot.
I simply locked it for the whole day:) Luckily it started snow hard
after 2pm. These are the right skis! It has moved to the top of my most
wanted list :) Too bad newer version of Big

protected the precious powder from yesterday for the whole morning. Tips up
and wind over the ears--it's just like flying:) Tired? maybe. Enjoyed? you

of powder snow the last two weeks.
Now I've washed all my clothing and stuff, officially 挂靴了。

Sierra is a very energetic dog, but very well behaved, I had a fun time
playing tug-war with him, : )

I did not go through that much powder, but there were two to three times I
had powder splush into my mouth a week ago at Alta.
BTW, Alta reported 12" new snow today and predicted 2-3ft of new snow by
this Fri. Too bad, it's goina close after this coming weekend.

resort fresh get tracked up every morning. Another huge advantage of
Snowbird and Alta is their mostly not so steep terrain which
allows the resort managers happily open vast footages of untreated
powder to the public...
Tahoe is also snowing hard now, even though on radar map
the big wet dump had pretty much skipped
heading towards Utah! Right now it is covering Ruby
mountain in the middle where heli-skiers are probably having

skillful mogul skiing. Fat skis make the biggest difference. Strong legs are
essential too. The rest is just to reproduce what others on the slope are
doing. It is indeed very different from carving.
So workshop/clinic isn't as necessary IMHO .
