PET = USGovt Plunge Enforcing Team in the gold & silver market.
Gold miners are heavily suppressed by Wall St banks. They don't want
anything related to gold to look good, be it gold and mining equities.

if u hold gold, when gold price is up, you gain
if u hold gold miner's stock, when gold is up, they may not give u their
dividend, or shre thier profit with shareholder |

They already are. All these future contracts and paper certificates w/
little physical gold backing them up are designed to suppress it.

There could be more downside but the current sell-off is a typical bull
market correction. Gold remains a solid buy & hold.
Not too sure about the GDX tho as it's managed by TungstenMan Sachs.
