Generally, there are two different types of expenses for employer sponsored
retirement plans: Plan Operating Expenses and Investment Expenses.
Plan Operating Expenses are expenses charged for the day-to-day
recordkeeping and administrative services related to the retirement plan.
Since these expenses vary from plan to plan, please contact your human
resources department for specific information.
Investment Expenses are the fees associated with managing and offering the
various investment options in the retirement plan. These fees may vary
depending on the type of investment option. To find out more on a specific
plan investment’s expenses, please follow the instructions below:
1) From the Personal Summary screen, click on the name of the plan you wish
to view. If you do not come to the Personal Summary screen, please proceed
to step 2.
2) Click on the link titled Investments in the left-hand margin of the
screen to expand the topic.
3) Under Investments, click on the link titled Performance.
4) Investment Expenses are in the far right column shown as Total Investment
Expense Gross.
