每天我会把最新的IBD NEWS PAPER (PDF)放在一个共享的google drive 文件夹里。现
在文件夹里已经有从10月初到现在的所有IBD DAILY了。
有兴趣的同学请站内发信，我会把分享的文件夹链接发过去，你可以先看看过去两个月
的报纸。最后的价格会由参加的人数来定。不过封顶50刀每人。
对于不知道IBD的同学可以看下面两个链接。简单的说，它是一套投资，或者说投机成

The S&P 500 extended its losing streak to five sessions Thursday in an
otherwise quiet session for stocks ahead of Friday's employment report.
The benchmark index lost 0.4% and the Nasdaq gave up 0.1%. NYSE volume fell
8% from Wednesday. Nasdaq volume eased 1%.
Breadth was poor on the New York Stock Exchange as decliners beat advancers
2-to-1. It was better on the Nasdaq as losers only had a slight edge over
winners.
A distribution day fell off the S&P 500 count. Distribution days fall off
the count when enough time has passed to make them irrelevant to current
conditions.
When it comes to overall market health, yellow flags are out there, but the
bull case still holds some water as indexes hold near highs.
While it's true that some leaders have come under pressure, plenty more are
holding up just fine. Repeated institutional selling in leading growth
stocks usually portends future market weakness, but it's been the exception
so far — not the rule.
Sellers have been in Facebook (FB) and LinkedIn (LNKD) in recent weeks but
the pullbacks for both have been orderly. Meanwhile, fresh breakouts have
come from Conn's (CONN), Las Vegas Sands (LVS) and HomeAway (AWAY), among
others, and many other high-quality growth names continue to hold near highs.
Electronics, furniture and appliance retailer Conn's gapped out of a cup-
with-handle base Thursday. Shares surged 19% in big volume after the company
reported another quarter of strong earnings and sales growth and issued
bullish guidance.
But two more retailers weren't so lucky after the close. Ulta Beauty (ULTA)
slumped 16% in after-hours trading after the beauty retailer reported
earnings and sales below expectations and issued a soft outlook.
Five Below (FIVE) lost 14% after the company missed on sales and also issued
a weak outlook.
Wall Street had a couple of pieces of economic data to chew on before the
open. The second estimate of third-quarter gross domestic product showed 3.6
% growth, well ahead of expectations, but much of the gain came from a
buildup in business stockpiles.
Meanwhile, weekly jobless claims fell 23,000 to 298,000, more than expected.
Claims have fallen in seven of the past eight weeks.
The monthly jobs report looms large on Friday. Economists expect November
non-farm payrolls to increase 180,000 with the unemployment rate ticking
lower to 7.2%. In October, the economy created 204,000 jobs.
The market is watching economic data, fearing that improving growth may lead
the Fed to reduce its stimulus plan. |

2. 但我必须更正，我不是SHARE FOR A PROFIT，只是几个穷屌丝凑钱买份价格有点贵
的报纸看看。 纯粹的CASH OUTFLOW，何谈PROFIT？我也就是看了他家的书想用用看看
罢了。
3. 没有我的行为，可能有的同学一直都不知道IBD。可能有些同学知道了，但从来没认
真看过。有的同学可能因为价格高而不会去购买使用。
4. 如果我们用了它的系统11个月后可以稳定盈利了，那它多了几个忠实的顾客，那时
候谁还会凑钱买报纸呢？至少我不会。
5. 不过还是谢谢你的热心提醒，提示风险。

其中eIBD是看电子版本的IBD，marketSmith非常不错。
不过我都没有钱买。我近来还在修补以前的亏损。 |

100页的书里有两行有用的可以提高投资或者投机的技术也是好的。把说有的书都一棍
子打死也是有些极端了。

格上传再分享链接。
不过最好还是站内发信给我email吧，公共分享还是少些了，风险还是要控制的。

Stocks Rise On Strong Data, But Volume Is Missing

Stocks kept to their recent puzzling action, tucking Friday's gains inside
lower volume with leaders flashing contradictory moves.
The Nasdaq rose 0.7%, good enough to erase the week's losses. The S&P 500
leapt 1.1%, rubbing out most of the week's losses. The IBD 50 inched up 0.1%.
Volume fell across the board.
Economic news was mostly bullish Friday. Payrolls for November topped the
high end of the Street's estimates. The University of Michigan's consumer
sentiment survey also beat the high end of the estimate range. Personal
income for October, however, was worse than the low end of estimates.
Media headlines made much of the payroll beat, but the lower volume on the
stock exchanges pointed to an apathetic reaction from the big money.
Time, more than news, is shaping up as a friend for this conflicted market.
The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 shed some distribution days because of time
during the past week. But they also picked up some fresh distribution days.
In the long run, swapping old distribution for new distribution isn't a good
trade. But it does keep the market uptrend alive.
Recent market action has been puzzling. Distribution has marred four of the
past 10 sessions, but the indexes remain close to their 52-week highs.
The indexes are also having trouble staying on the same page. After Nov. 13,
when the uptrend resumed, there hasn't been a single day of sizable gains
in rising volume for both indexes. If one index is delivering gains, the
other decides to sit it out, either by lacking volume or price.
Leaders also are a mixed bag. While a handful have rolled higher during the
resumed uptrend — Nu Skin (NUS) up 17%, Biogen (BIIB) up 23% — a few
others have suffered blowouts or slow leaks.
Ulta Beauty (ULTA) plunged 20.5% in monster volume Friday after fiscal Q3
results missed on the top and bottom lines and guidance was weak. Results
were reported after hours Thursday.
Proto Labs (PRLB) has used the resumed uptrend as a signal to sag steadily
south. It's 19% off its high.
Amid these contradictions, investors are best off negotiating the market on
a case-by-case basis.
If a stock drops 8% from your buy point, sell it. If it threatens to turn a
decent gain into a loss, lock in the small gain. If it reaches the 20%
profit level and doesn't appear to have the qualities of a big winner, take
the profit. If a stock continues to hold up well and you are convinced it
could be a big winner, give it room to run.
If you do open a new position, it should be a stock of the highest quality.
Don't compromise in order to find buy candidates. |
