have to pay the CT tax as well?
I got a letter from CT gov, saying that I owe them tax, but if I understand
it correctly, NY has a higher rate than CT, and our HR said I do not need to
pay CT tax. all my income sources are from NY. | t******7 发帖数: 147 | 2 you paid non-resident income tax to NY; and need to pay resident income tax
to CT. however, since you paid income tax to NY; some percent (depending on
your resident state) of what you paid to NY can be deducted from what you
owed to CT.
You need to run TAX preparation on CT to find out.
CT may not know how much you paid to other states. |
