1040的adjustable gross income里面, 然后查tax table中adjustable gross income
对应的数得出该缴的税,那为什么还有股票投资收入的税率是30% flat这一说法?难道
股票投资收入在某处还有单独的税率? | g****0 发帖数: 1681 | 5 you do not calculate capital gain or loss yourself. IF you invest in
securities, you should receive 1099-DIV and 1099-B, which contains all the
info you need for tax return. The forms and worksheets involved are Form
8949, schedule D, qualified dividends and capital gain tax worksheet.
Long term capital gains generally are taxed at a maximum rate of 15%. While
for taxpayers in the 10% and 15% brackets, the long term capital gains tax
rate is 0%.(I guess it does not apply to you since i assume you have a
decent job)
certain long term gains are taxed at a maximum rate of 28%. I guess that is
the reason why people claims the 30% rate. However, i guess it does not
apply to you because the 28% rate applies to gains related to collectible
and qualified small business stock.
If I were you, i would ask tax professional to do my tax return.
Good Luck! |
