I never heard of pre-streching string? Could u elaborate?

发帖数: 1865 | 10 很多软线，主要是gut，在穿之前要pre strech（用穿线机拉）的，让线“硬化”，要
不然穿好后线的
磅数会立刻下降很多。

become 11 feet after 10% pre-streching?
If that is the case, 50 pound with 15% pre-stretch will be equivalent to if
not better than 57 pound without pre-strech? |

发帖数: 1284 | 12 say you want to string at tension 50lbs. a 10% pre-stretch will be you
first pull the tension to 55lbs then reduce it to 50lbs. you can only do
this is with a machine with this feature built-in.
