RUSH NL50, Hand one,
Preflop, MP 2BB and me/BB call w/ ATo
Flop, Q8J rainbow; MP 2BB and I call
Tturn 9 (Flush draw); I Overbet and MP fold
RUSH NL50, Hand Two
Preflop, UTG 3BB, MP/Me call with QQ and so does BB
Flop 25Q with FD, check to MP/Me, I bet 1/2 pot; all fold
Both hands, I hit strong. SHould I slow play for more value?
BTW, what is the way to play QQ if there is one 3BB raise from EP/MP?!
Once, I 3X from SB and MP allin with KK, I called and got wiped out. | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 2 hand 1, i guess you could check raise on flop, you have a belly buster BUT
any 9/T/K or paired on later streets will kill the action. i.e., most of
time you'll either miss totally, hit but no more value (4 card str8 board),
or got sucked out with non-nut str8, like this one, he could have KT. T is
not your out, A is very weak out since you'll be little causious out of
position for building a bigger pot.
in general, it's not a hand you should expect to win a big pot when you hit,
because board will be scary obviously.
hand 2, 1/2 pot is fine but check is better i guess:
1) yes, a flush draw is there, but this doesn't mean anyone is drawing to it
, sometimes we need to give "free" cards to other hands. i.e., we should NOT
be too concerned with flush draws (which is only a small x%), and try to "
protect" in position and with a monster;
2) AA/KK/AQ is not likely to check this flop from UTG, so you're downplaying
your hand like KQ, QJ alike, and it turns out they have no interest to
continue, i don't think they even have a pair like 99/TT.
as for QQ in LP, i'd mix flat and raise 50 50 times.
MP 3x with QQ and got raised and then get in? i don't think it's a good move
unless you know your opponents well. you got 2 hands AA/KK that dominates
you, one coin flip hand AK, JJ or AQs may fold a lot of times and even they
donk, they still have 20%+ chance, so if it's 100BB or so, you're almost
always in bad shape when called.

| W********m 发帖数: 7793 | 3 standard. But i also like 3 bet QQ on hand 2 unless utg is a total nit~ | s*********k 发帖数: 1989 | 4 Thanks.
The other times, I was at BB with QQ and 3X on 3BB from MP (with KK). MP
push allin. I have already put 1/3 of stack there (so it is
$10$ for $30). I surely does not like the allin (highly likely I was
behind), still tank and call in the last second. Sigh.
That is the reason, I flat call 3BB from EP with QQ at MP here.
The first hand, I believe the opponent has 33/44 alike. If he has
two high cards (most likely hit already or with NSD with AK).
The second hand, UTG has small pair also. BB could have any. I have
position and have the choice to slow play. Might should try that way. Hit
big set and just stop on flop is not very well done. | s*********k 发帖数: 1989 | 5 After read your comments, I seriously think check on turn at 1st hand. I
cannot
beat much (except bluff, drawing hand like made set; my initial hope is
the guy has KK/AA since he bet 2BB).
That way, might the opponent will bet on river.
,
hit,
it
