personally, I have said that, since I work in a defense related R&D, McCain
is the ideal candidate if there is no Iraq war, or US can win it or even
benefit from the war. but the reality is, Iraq has become a place which
major global powers such as China, Russia, EU use to exhaust US. Iraq is not
a military issue. Rather,it is a comprehensive one. Iraq can not get
stablized b/c major powers role and strategic purposes in Mid east. US can

的根本是其军事实力。当然经济和军事又有相互依赖的关系。没有军事存在的经济强国
如日本，德国，就不得不看别人脸色行事。而俄罗斯调整策略，振兴经济的基础正是其
军事力量。
小布什打伊战，战略上没犯什么错误，但战术细节上失误很多。如果换了麦凯恩，可能
结果会是完全两样。
只有民用商业化成功的军工企业，才能很好的生存。纯粹军工企业，在长期和平环境下
，势必走向衰败。尤其是美国的武器产品总被抱怨价格太高。而军工如果衰败上10年以
上，就可能荒废一代相关工程师和技师。这些人才如果断代，想在重新在工艺上恢复可
能就不止十年的工夫了。所以，小布什加大军工的投入，并非没有眼光的举动，只不过
还是有很多细节的问题。
小布什在我眼里只有两个缺点：1，在伊战等实际问题上空有个大方向，而操作不好细
节。2，他的精神领袖作用壮大了极左。
这两点恰恰都是麦凯恩的优点。
