I came across this section, and I am amused that you put this unconfirmed
quote as your signature. Are you serious, or just joking?
Please correct me if I am wrong. | l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 2 hehe, correct me if I am wrong. Show me your support.

Well, seems that he said more than the sentence I quoted.
'To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary,' The Argentine Ernesto 'Che' Guevara declared. 'These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution! And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate. We must create the pedagogy of the paredon (the execution wall)'" | f*********g 发帖数: 1637 | 4 All your references are from Che's arch opponents, that is what I said in my first post.
First, you quoted a Yahoo answer to back up your claim? You must be able
to do it better when you cited a reference, especially when you even put
it in your signature.
Yes the so called yahoo answer has longer paragraph, but so what, did it
give any direct reference to what Che wrote ? No, just opponent's claim.
Now let us see second reference, again it did not cite any original
literature. When one quotes a reference, either he was a witness, and
confirmed by other independent witness, or by credible literature, like news
report at that day, or Che's confirmed writing, where were they? None.
If you want to believe what you like , you can found almost anything, but fact isn
't something just for your like, my friend. | l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 5 well, I think you need to provide your support of your argument because
obviously it's kind of public opinion that he said that. That's the reason
I listed two links.
It's like we said Mao wrote a poem and it's a publicly accepted opinion. If
you disagree, then you need to provide your support.
my first post.

| f*********g 发帖数: 1637 | 6 If you want to use public opinion, including your opinion as an argument,
don't you think it's so weak one? Mao poems were published works, can you
just name single Mao's poem that wasn't published but was claimed by "public
opinion"?
Che was one of major leaders of a nation, he or Cuban government published
his many speeches or writings. Can you quote any of such original sources?
I gave you some hint, such accusation only surfaced very late, it was
quoted in The Cuban Revolution : Years of Promise (2005) by Teo A.
Babun and Victor Andres Triay, p. 57, there they cited "Che Guevara:
Assassin and Bumbler" by Humberto Fontova from Mensnewsdaily.com, 2 March
2004; but the author Fontava did not give any source for the Guevara's
statement, so basically that was just a claim.
You just cant find any reputable literature for that kind of accusation. But
you like that quote so much, even put it as your own signature! You
must believe it. In that sense it's useless to argue with you. Nonetheless
still I want to tell you, accusation and fact aren't same. | T**********1 发帖数: 2406 | 7 did Che or did Che not execute a large number of his "enemies" without
judicial trial that are generally accepted in civilized society?
care to answer this substantive question or would you rather dwell on the
technicalities which none has a difinitive answer?

| f*********g 发帖数: 1637 | 8 This post has a principle: The integrity is more important than politics; one shouldn't make up story even to his arch
enemy.
This isn't trival technicality , this is related with basic ethics.
I'd like to discuss with you when I have more time in other section, not
here in US news section. Do you want to discuss US Cuba relation issue? This
is somehow in line with current topics at least.

| T**********1 发帖数: 2406 | 9 Integrity from a liberal, nobody was expecting that.
ps, Che was not about politics, Che was about slaughtering innocent people:
men, women and children. where is your integrity on that?
Did he or did he not do that: slaughtering?
Did he or did he not subscribe to the quoate, judging from what he did?
would a normal average human being be more likely or less likely to believe
he said that?
am I more about polictics or are you more about politics than about
integrety?
how about some decency, like we are born free? like you should kill innocent
people? like able-body adults shoudl work for a living?
and a liberal has integrity. what a joke.
one shouldn't make up story even to his arch

problem in English. My post only addresses the particular issue. I have
not time to play into your scheme. Bye.

| f*********g 发帖数: 1637 | 12 You can call Guevara anything you want, because you are entitled to your
opinion.
But as a serious poster, especially a section editor, you may want to
refrain from taking rumor as authentic statement from suspisous and
unverified source for your information. I am surprised and really feel
sorry for you because you even go that far as to take such rumor as your
signature, this really hurts your credit than anybody else.
One thing I must give you proper credit is, unlike some other poster, you do
not initial any labeling or name calling and keep proper net etiquette. If
we indulge into such behavior, all rational discussion is off. Both us
discussed the issue by its own merit. I appreciate you in this regards. | l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 13 well, I already said if you think that's a rumor. It's fine. But if you
want to persuade other people, then you need to show some supporthings, like
, did Che claim that he didn't say that? LOL
