Nice. Take a tragedy and raise money off it! Do these ghouls ever stop
exploiting tragedy and trying to profit off it simultaneously? As horrible
as last Friday’s events were it’s been unseemly how eager Democrats are to
take away Second Amendments rights while trying to shake down the public
for even more tax money.
Two Democratic state lawmakers are preparing a comprehensive gun control
bill that would prohibit firearms with a capacity of more than 10 rounds of
ammunition, expand the definition of an assault rifle, bar online
ammunition purchases and institute a 50-percent sales tax on all ammunition
buys.
Expand the definition? Gee, that’s not a slippery slope. And do these dopes
think gun owners won’t get their ammunition elsewhere?
“Every constituent I have spoken to since this horrific event has
demanded action,” state Sen. Beth Bye, D-West Hartford, said in a press
release outlining the proposal. “They simply cannot fathom why we continue
to pay such an awful price for such free access to firearms. I cannot either
, and I plan to work very closely with both national and state experts to
craft meaningful laws and reforms that will have a real and lasting effect
on stemming the access to dangerous weapons here in Connecticut.”
Rep. Bob Godfrey, D-Danbury, sponsored Connecticut’s original assault
weapons ban in the early 1990s. But he said more must be done.
You would think he’d pause to reflect why his original ban didn’t work.
Instead we need to double down on laws that mean nothing.
Meanwhile, Connecticut lawmakers made cuts to hospitals and education
Wednesday. Guess that’s Bush’s fault. | C****n 发帖数: 2324 | 2 I actually love the idea, if it can be enforced.
If somehow the ammunition raised to $100 per bullet, then only rich families
can own guns.
But, it has to be a nation wide TAX, and increase police power to track fown
the bullet smuggle business, of course, we also need to number each bullets
, to make sure the police won't sell bullets themselves.
I would love to live in a world that a gun cost $10K, and a bullet cost $1K,
if it can be enforced.

install metal detector and hire security guards for each elementary and
