税更多啊？我的stock option还有很多年才过期 有人说等得越久卖越好 我觉得股票价格还有增加空间 想等着最后same day sale
但是如果现在sell to cover 买下一部分股票 ，是不是交税少很多？

But I believe "sell to cover" and "same day sale" should have the same
taxable compensation, hense the taxes should be the same. If you choose to "
sell to cover", the agent will sell enough shares to cover the cost of the
options and taxes, and you keep the rest of shares. If you choose "same day
sale", agent will sell all your option shares, and send company the cost and
taxes, and send you the profit. If you want to keep more shares, choose "
sell to cover". If you want to have cash, choose "same day sale".
Generally speaking, the longer you wait, the more profit you should have,
because the stock price should increase over the time, but with current
stock market situation, it is hard to tell. Plus, generally your tax rate
should increase in the future, but again, it is hard to tell, there are so
