Our current PremiumCare extended warranty (ESP) with Ford expires soon, and
when I took our car into the dealer they offered to extend it another 5
years. The offer I was interested in was:
5 years / 60,000, $200 deductible PremiumCare for $2302 after taxes
It showed this on the service advisor's computer. And I thought it was
outrageous.
So I went home and did some research online and found that you can get
heavily discounted warranties from other official Ford Dealers. These are
the same warranties that my local dealer was going to sell me!! These guys
had the best price (and can do NON-FORD cars too!):

They were able to get me an additional:
5 years / 60,000, $100 deductible PremiumCare for $1435
I purchased it at night. I called my local dealer's service advisor the next
day and the new ESP was active on my account.
You want to extend it as close to the expiration date of your current ESP as
possible, but not past it or they will have to do a car inspection and
possible inspection fees. From what I understand the new ESP plan becomes
active when you buy it and overrides any other plans you have active on the

Another company also offers discounted official Ford ESP plans.
You can get a coupon code by filling out a quote and putting in your email
address. This emailed me a coupon code for $190 off their already discounted
plans.

In the end, they wanted $1606 for the same PremiumCare plan with all the
discounts/coupons applied, which is why I went with the Zeigler Ford Group
instead.

Each plan actually for the most part covers more than the plan below it,
even in the overlapping areas of coverage.

So by doing a little research I was able to save $867 for the same exact
plan my local dealer offered.
