On the back of the recently mailed 2011 Target "Making Savings Bright"
Holiday Catalog there is a coupon for a $15 GiftCard when you spend $150. It
is not valid for the purchase of Target Brand GiftCards, but is valid on
the Amazon Kindle ones (which can be used on anything at Amazon). There is
no tax charged on the gift cards.
So you effectively can get a $15 Target GiftCard for spending $150 at Amazon.
Here's the kicker for me. After I purchased my $150 worth of Kindle gift
cards and got the $15 Target GiftCard, the register spat out a coupon for $8
off of $80. Obviously, your mileage may vary.
