hopefully the second time is the charm.
IUI is definitely worth to try if the infertility is the sperm issue. |

Did you guys try clomid before the injectable? My doctor just put me on
clomid first, did not even mention about injectable IUI. |

But my clinic has very limited monitoring process when clomid IUI. I think
that is why but No clomid itself.

For my clomid IUI, they only did unltrasound and blood work on day3 and
day11. The first time I did it, they found the follicle size was 16 on day11
, So they told me to do the ovidrel injection on day 12, then IUI on day13
and day14.
how does the injectable IUI work? why it does not need strict monitoring? |

发帖数: 466 | 10 During my injectable IUI session, I had 5 times unltrasound and blood work
almost every other day. Doctor asked the ovidrel injection when LUAN PAO >
18mm and Twice IUI. I had 3 big LUAN PAO (>18mm ) and other 5 smaller one.
In my clomid IUI, only two unltrasound and NO ovidrel injection. ONLY did
IUI once. It reduced the chance. During this process, I was told I had 3
LUAN PAO in total. ( BTW, I am very old)

I may need to do this in the future.
For me, the insurance will cover the procedure (ultrasound, blood work and
insemination). The drug is not covered. But the biggest expense for me is
the donor sperms (almost $1500 for each cycle).
Hopeful my try for this cycle will succeed. |
