Elano Blumer, 29-year-old Brazilian with an Italian passport, could be the
midfielder of quantity, quality and flexibility that Inter Rafa Benitez
could choose. Elano would be able to play multiple roles in the Inter
midfield, a bit like you can do Dejan Stankovic. The coach has long
appreciated the talents of the Brazilian National (2 goals in the last
World Cup), but especially like the technical director Marco Branca. Even
in summer it seems there has been contact between the two with Elano seen
in Milan on a hot July afternoon, if not then nothing came of it. Elano is
en route with Galatasaray and would like to "escape" in January. Inter,
for a figure of around 6 bar of 7 million, would be willing to buy it
outright, suggesting a contract of 3 years. | u****l
