他说这个东西估计很麻烦, 不如给我买个单独的heater 在卧式里

你说的是整个房子的暖气还是那种便携式的？整个房子的买个thermostat装上就好了，

我说的是整个房子的...
舍不得一直开着的, 就想起床的时候暖和就行
估计以后有baby就得一直开着了

是啊，这是我们搬新家后改装的第一项。想省的话还可以再买个便携式的，保证宝宝屋
里暖和就行了。

这个改装很简单的，就是两三条线。一般每天可以设置四个时段，对应起床，上班，回
家，睡觉，很方便。

绝大部分都可以，另加一个简单的定时器，不过分时段的比较少。

嗯，快的话也就十分钟的事吧，把heater关了，把老的thermostat拆下来，把新的放上
去，线接好，螺丝一拧，齐活！要是你们还有中央空调（估计没有，要不然肯定
thermostat已经更新了）接线要稍微麻烦一点。以后装中央空调的话，这个thermostat
可以都控制。
对了，thermostat有些比较智能，她不是按你设置的时间开机，而是加个提前量，这样
到你设置的时间差不多到达预定温度。

i normally let it heat up around 5-6pm during weekdays to keep us warm.
and set a lower temperature during the day so it won't use too much energy.
but during weekend we want the house to be warm all day long...

This way you'll get hot water right away when you turn on the water.
It is very good for baby and mom, also Zymm's parents like it a lot too,
especially during winter time. It saves you water too as you don't need to

我做了一下研究，传统的循环水要有管道通回到热水器，所以安装比较麻烦。但有一些
可以安装在现有的系统上，基本原理都是在离热水器最远的sink下面利用现有的冷水管
做回水管，这样基本上可以DIY。
控制什么时候水泵工作大体有手动，温控和时控制分。手控的好处是不浪费能源，要用
时才用，但是还是需要等一会儿，也就是把原来打开水龙头放水变成了按一个按钮把水
排回到冷水管。这个似乎性价比不错：http://www.chilipepperapp.com/howit.htm 不过因为这种需要功率比较大，所以噪音也比较大。
纯粹的温控保证任何时间都有温水用，之所以说是温水是因为一直循环代价太高，所以
只有水温低到一个阈值泵才会开动。有一些另带一个定时器，可以设置大概什么时候你
会用热水，这样省却了半夜和白天无谓的循环，但也意味着你在摄制的时间之外就没有

I installed one on top of the water heater, it takes a while to turn off the
water, release the pressure of the
heater etc.
Under sink ones will be better.
Once installed, it works on every faucets in the house.
