I shipped one brother MFC 7340 with with estimated price of $17.75 (ground)
+ $2.5 residential surcharge for shipping weight of 30LB. Fedex charged me
for $26.65 with shipping weight of 44LB.
I also shipped several hard disk drives with the same weight. But there are
3 LB difference in weight for different labels.
I argued with Fedex and they said they won't investigate until I give the
account #, company name, address for the fedex account. |

请注意一下fedex收钱的时候的重量是一个叫做rated weight来计算的。rated weight=
max(real weight, L*W*H/194).
去年我寄了几个30+lbs的东西，被按照100+lbs来收费。就是amazon买的什么恐龙。结
果赔得一塌糊涂。自己按照amazon给的盒子尺寸一算，确实是那个重量。
所以寄东西尽量用合适的盒子寄，以免被多收钱。
当然，fedex肯定有重量尺寸搞错的时候。这种情况argue也很难成功。我正在考虑遇到
这种类似情况，统一给大家一些credit. 包括declare $500还是被charge $3.5的情况。

还经常fuel surcharge，rurual charge，一次投递不成二次投递的charge。 |
